It's over! Hallelujah, I'm done with high school homecomings forever. However, this was one for the memory books. It started on Wednesday with the parade and community pep-rally (like any homecoming normally would). That went well except for two minor mishaps. First, I spelled Senior wrong on one of our signs for Senior Sisters, and no one caught it until it was done (No one to blame but myself really). Then, on the parade route kids literally attacked our truck wanting candy. I mean insane! They came up to our windows and even threw candy back at us! It was ridiculous! Then we had about an hour long pep-rally which never seemed to end, but I must give props to our drumline because they ROCK! It continued with dress up days at school all week. Then on Friday the big game arrived but of course a cold front came through and delayed it about an hour. Once we did get started about 4 minuted into the 2nd quarter Mr. Behrends let us leave because it was to be delayed again. Ashley, Nick, and myself then proceeded to a party at Erika's where Brandon was a jerk! The next day I had to wake up about 6 and babysit this little girl until my mom got back home. I then went to a band competition we had. We did pretty good actually; We received 6th overall and our drumline received 3rd beating Coppell (HA!). Amazingly enough I wasn't surprised. I really think if we stay motivated for a few more weeks we have a good chance at state (I know many of you are laughing but it's true). After the competition I came home and got ready. This is where it starts getting interesting. I went to dinner at Joe's with everyone, picked up Ashley, and headed into the dance. Danny Carrissimi won king and Brittany Jackman won Queen (the two I wanted which makes me very happy!). About thirty minutes after they announced them, I left and headed to Town Square to see Steven, Tim, Robert, Chris, Matt, Adam, Wilson, Rose, Emily, Megan, and Emily. I got an airbrush tattoo of a playboy bunny to freak my mom out but instead I left Ryan Soloman believing it's real. Sorry if you are reading this Ryan, but that was hilarious! After Oktoberfest, we all headed to Wilson's house to talk. It was interesting, I'll leave it at that. Then I went to pick up Ashley who had left with Ben Rodts and Bronson Meador. That too was very interesting and I'll leave it at that. Around 2:30 we returned to Wilson's, but not for long because we soon left for Whataburger and then Ashley's house. This is where my night ended; Ashley's house. This is also where I must apologize to Ashley for making her go to Whataburger and being extremely late getting; We got back about 3:30. Her parent's we pissed to say the least. She is know grounded for a week, and it's my doing. I'm sorry, I didn't think you'd get in that much trouble. But it was bad because we accidently left her phone in my car while in Whataburger and they had been calling like no other. After she was done getting in trouble, we turned on Harry Potter 2 and went to sleep. Because there is no sense of time in Ashleys room (light or clock), I slept until 1:30. I then left and came home. That was my evening. If you wish to know more about the interesting parts, I guess you can ask but I might not tell you. I must study for a government test now. Talk to y'all later!
